VoRAE strongly condemns the trafficking of an 11-year-old Montenegrin Roma girl who is suspected of being trafficked as a human being by her own family and especially her father. "On the grounds that she was married."
The case was made known to her mother. The girl is currently in the state of Kosovo, mainly in the municipality of Fushë Kosovë / Kosovo Polje.
Since NGO VoRAE has as its mission the priority of providing solutions to problems and socio-economic conditions for these three communities, it is up to the responsible institutions to resolve the case as soon as possible. At the same time, they demand that the girl be treated under the "Child Protection Convention".
VoRAE has reported the case to the Kosovo police.
