Mr. Isak Skenderi is the executive director and one of the founders of the organization “Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians. Mr. Skenderi completed his secondary education at the School of Economics in Prishtina, while he completed his university studies at the Faculty of Economics, in the field of "Management and Entrepreneurship". He also studied English language and literature at the Cambridge School of Foreign Language in Pristina. Prior to founding the NGO “Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians., from 2002 to 2011, he worked as a translator, working for various local and international agencies, such as the Ombudsman Institution in Kosovo. "KFOR" and "EU Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo". His passion for social justice and equality, his desire to contribute to a multiethnic and democratic society, and motivated by the miserable and marginalized position of the communities, made him the founder of “Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians NGO.

Isak Skenderi

Vesa Batalli is Deputy Executive Director and Program Manager at Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians . Her role is to advocate for equality of opportunity for young people in employment communities, to prepare the labor market framework, and to combat antipsychotics. She is responsible for monitoring and implementing the Organization's programs as well as communicating with donors and public institutions. Vesa is an activist who speaks for human rights with a particular focus on integrating the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities into Kosovar society. She has completed her studies at American University in Kosovo - Management and Public Policy.

Vesa Batalli

Orhan Butic is Education Manager at the NGO "Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians" and is one of the organization's first employees. Orhani manages the education department in which he plans strategies and objectives to be achieved, then sets out an organizational structure that can ensure that those goals are achieved. It selects the staff to work with to accomplish the planned tasks and manages the overall program process. The organization controls every aspect of the plan of action in order to successfully accomplish the goals of the Organization in the current conditions and with the resources available. It introduces the organization nationally and internationally, as well as writing new projects creating strategies and implementing models for inclusion of children in mainstream education and raising the quality of education with a particular focus on Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities in Kosovo. Prior to working at NGO, Orhani worked for 5 years in the Education Department at the NGO Balkan Sunflowers as a primary education educator. Orhan graduated from the Faculty: Customs and Expedition at Pjeter Budi College in Pristina.

Orhan Butic

Violeta Thaci is the Senior Housing Officer at the "Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians" Organization. She is an architect by profession, and her role in the NGO is to design and monitor the successful implementation of activities related to housing. In addition to these activities, the focus of her work is advocacy with the local and central level to subsidize programs to improve housing conditions for marginalized groups, especially these three communities that live in difficult conditions. He has been attached to the organization since 2013, where, together with the staff of the housing department, they have successfully implemented the project to improve the living conditions of the communities; Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian as well as other marginalized groups living in Kosovo. Before being part of the organization, Violeta worked as a teacher in the direction of architecture and high construction at the "28 November" technical high school in Prishtina, as well as at the Lesna company and for 8 years at the NGO "Women for Women International "

Violeta Thaçi

Valbona Nuredini is a skilled professional in finance and administration, with a strong educational background and extensive experience. She holds a degree in Banking, Finance, and Accounting from "Iliria" University in Prishtina and is currently pursuing studies in the English Department at the University of Prishtina. She is also in the process of certification with SCAAK (Society of Certified Accountants and Auditors of Kosovo). Currently, Valbona serves as the Finance Manager at the "Voice of Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptians" (VORAE) organization, where she leads financial strategies, analytical reporting, and legal compliance. Previously, she worked as a Finance Officer at the Kosovo Women’s Network and as an Administrative and Finance Officer on USAID-supported projects with CEED Kosovo, managing significant projects and complex financial operations. Valbona has advanced skills in financial tools and technology, including QuickBooks and Sun System, and expertise in human resource management and donor reporting. She is fluent in Albanian, English, and Serbo-Croatian.

Altina Gazaferi Paqarizi is the Administration/HR Officer of the organization "Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians" which joined us in 2022. She finished her master studies in Jurisprudence in the International University of Struga and brings a wealth of experience in HR and business administration . Throughout Altina's career, she has successfully implemented HR strategies that align with organizational goals and values. The excel in recruiting top talent and ensuring that employees have the support and resources they need to thrive in their roles. Altina is constantly on the lookout for ways to improve HR processes and policies, all with the aim of ensuring that both the organization and its employees reap the rewards.

Altina Gazaferi Paqarizi

Kiki Rrahmani is Media and Public Relations Officer at Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians (VoRAE). Her role at VoRAE is to design and implement a communication plan, prepare press releases, field information, success stories, and other publications. Kiki attends various meetings, seminars, conferences organized by the organization as part of activities implemented for the programs: Employment, Housing, Education, Human Rights and Anti-Sexism. She also has good social connections with other media and related organizations. Kiki specializes in this field as she has over 10 years of experience in this field. Prior to joining VoRAE, Kiki worked on very successful projects related to raising awareness and social life in Kosovo. Among the most successful projects he has designed and implemented have been the show "LEMzA" and "TALK". Kiki graduated from the Faculty of Economics - Ba & Msc "Bank Finance and Accounting" in UP as well as the "Academy of Fine Arts" in Prishtina.

Kiki Rrahmani

Njomza Uka Selimi is Senior Employment Officer at Voice of Roma Ashkali and Egyptian. Her rol in VoRAE is to build and maintain good collaboration and cooperation relationship with the project partners, identifying Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian youth seeking for jobs, facilitating meetings and other activities related to the improvement of unemployment rate of Roma, ashkali and egyptian youth in Kosovo with governmental representatives and municipality representatives. She also continuously is in contact with institutional representatives and other important stakeholders to avdocate for Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities. She also mediate the youth for professional training, and organizing other social activities such as Multicultural Festival, youth camps etc. Prior to joining NGO, she worked at Kosovo ICT Associations-STIKK as a Project Manager and Membership Coordinator for more than 7 years.

Njomza Uka Selimi

Amanda, works in the position of Program Officer, in the organization. While she joined the organization in 2017, initially in the position Employment Officer. In 2016, Amanda worked in the organization "Advancing Together", as a Coordinator for student affairs and administration of the center in Peja and Gjakova with the district, 2013-2016, she worked in the organization "Terre des Hommes" as a teacher's assistant for the children of the centers educational. Otherwise, Amanda Toska has completed her Master's education - Sectoral Management at the AAB College, Department of Economics, as well as two other faculties at the University of Pristina and Haxhi Zeka University in the fields of Public Administration and Education / Primary Program.

Senad Ibishi is an employment officer with the NGO Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians (VoRAE) in the employment department. His role at VoRAE is to provide equal opportunities in employment, mediation and internships for young people from the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities. The Senate deals with training community staff on how to prepare a resume, cover letter, how to conduct a job interview, and how to apply for internships. He also deals with advocacy and mediation for regular employment, organizes summer camps and other activities for young people from RAE communities. Senad has completed his bachelor's degree at AAB College of Public Administration, Political Science and Diplomacy and is pursuing his Msc in the same field.

Bajram Ilazi is an education officer at the non-governmental organization "Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians". Its role is to manage and organize work and activities in the learning centers , trying together with the Municipal Director of Education to contribute to the prevention of school dropout, improving attendance, as well as raising the quality of learning in order to increase the success and inclusion of children from the Ashkali, Egyptian and Roma communities in compulsory, upper secondary and university education. Bajram also has more than 8 years of work experience as activists in the non-profit sector, working in various NGOs and managing various projects. He is studying Economics and has attended numerous trainings on Education and Human Rights. His favorite saying is: I am accused of talking too much, but they forget that I am talking about my community.

Bajram Ilazi

Fortesa Shasivari, completed high school at the "Eqrem Qabej" Philological Gymnasium in Prishtina, while she continued her higher studies at the University of Prishtina, Faculty of Philology, Journalism branch, while her master's at AAB College, Public Administration-Diplomacy department . For several years she has worked as a journalist, in several online media, where she followed the political developments in the country and the education sector, Fortesa also has work experience in public institutions in the country, she worked as an Executive Assistant in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. in the Ministry of Diaspora and Strategic Investments as a media official and in the Ministry of Integration and Internal Affairs, she followed the practice of spokesperson for media and administration. Fortesa started working in the organization in December 2022, she is a program officer in the education sector.

Fortesa Shasivari

Sunaj Garipi is a program officer in the education sector. He joined the NGO "Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians" in 2022. Since 2013, Sunaj has worked in the organization as a tutor in the center for additional education, where he gained experience in working with children, and now he is transferring that experience to other mentors who work with children from the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities. Now, his main task is to monitor the work of mentors in secondary schools. The main goal is to improve the situation of students from the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities in secondary schools and to motivate them to continue higher education. Sunaj completed his secondary education at the economics school in Laplje Selo, and continued his studies in Prishtina at the private university "Universum" - Public Administration.

Sunaj Garipi

Denis Avdi is an education officer at the NGO "Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians". Its role is to mobilize and organize work and activities for volunteers and prevent girls from dropping out of school. Denis is constantly working to raise the awareness of marginalized communities about the importance of education, to change their mindset and bring successful and competitive young people in different fields. He considers that the most important commitment for him has been the good will to do voluntary work. Today he is a graduate of the Master's level at the University of Pristina in the "Political Science, International Relations and Diplomacy" department, and according to him, his studies will never stop because life is what gives him knowledge one by one.

Denis Avdi

With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, Ramiz Bici has developed expertise in legal consulting, project management, and socially impactful initiatives. As a law graduate from the University of Prishtina, he has led and contributed to significant projects focused on housing, waste management, and environmental protection in Kosovo. Role and Main Responsibilities: Housing Program Officer in an organization aiming to improve living conditions for marginalized communities, Legal Consultant, Project Manager, and Social Expert for assessing the economic and social impacts of infrastructure projects, including wastewater treatment and urban planning. Skills and Achievements: Excellent organizational and leadership skills, leading multidisciplinary teams toward success, expertise in legal consulting, ensuring compliance with national and international standards. Ramiz is a dedicated professional, committed to advancing and improving living standards through innovative and community-oriented approaches.

Ramiz Bici

Ramadush Limani since 2013 it is part of the activities of "Voice of Ashkali Roma and Egyptians" initially as a tutor at the learning center in Gadime, while in September 2022 he started working as the finance officer in the organization. He has completed numerous trainings for finance and accounting, while he completed his university education in 2017 in the direction of Banking, Finance and Accounting at the University of Pristina "Hasan Prishtina".
