"Challenges and achievements in the education system of the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities"

On 05.02.21 from10:00 to 12:00 together with Terre Des Hommes in "Hotel Sirius" we will organize a conference on "Challenges and achievements in the education system of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities" which will focus in presenting the current situation in the field of community education in Kosovo, based on recent reports prepared by: - Kosovo Agency of Statistics and supported through UNICEF; - Presentation of the analysis, interventions and achievements of various projects that support the inclusion in the education of students from the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities by the Council of Europe in Kosovo; - Presentation of research on the inclusion of children in first grade and preschool - KEC; - Comparative analysis from the educational segment of the MICS report in countries where the Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians works with programs - NGO "Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians". The purpose of the conference is to raise awareness among public institutions and other actors to take adequate measures to improve the education of the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities. The conference will be held in compliance with all measures in force to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants are required to wear masks throughout the conference and to follow the rules to prevent the pandemic from spreading.
